5 Reasons 100,000+Dutch HomeownersSleep Better At Night

You lock the door. You check the handle. You get in the car. And somewhere between the driveway and the highway, the thought creeps in: did I close the back window? Is that delivery going to sit on the porch all day?

That low hum of worry costs more than most people realise. It pulls attention from the meeting, the dinner, the bedtime story.

Over the past two years, more than 100,000 households in the Netherlands have quietly solved this. Not with expensive alarm contracts or complicated camera systems. With a Dutch brand called FinexHome — and a way of thinking about home security that starts with one idea: you should be able to leave home and stop thinking about it.

Here are five reasons they made the switch. None of them start with megapixels.

Reason 01

Take your home security to the next level.

The real value of a home camera is not catching someone. It is the absence of doubt.

One glance at your phone tells you the kids got home safe. That the package was picked up. That nothing happened while you were away. No subscription fee to see your own footage. No cloud service deciding how long you can keep it.

FinexHome cameras store everything locally on an SD card. Your footage stays on your property, accessible for up to six months.

Ring30 days€10
Google Nest30 days€8
FinexHomeUp to 6 months€0. Ever.

That is what 'peace of mind' actually means when the marketing stops.

Reason 02

Your front door tells you more than you think

Most of what happens at your home happens at the front door. Deliveries. Visitors. The neighbour dropping something off. The person who rings and walks away.

The new FinexHome Video Doorbell V3 records in 4K with a 160-degree field of view. It sees visitors from head to toe and packages on the ground. The chip is 1.5 times faster than its predecessor, which means you get alerts before whoever is at the door has time to leave.

  • 4K video
  • 2x faster chip
  • AI human detection
  • 160° view
  • Package alerts

AI-powered human detection means you get notified about people, not passing cars or swaying trees. Package detection tells you the moment something arrives. Two-way audio lets you speak to whoever is there, whether you are upstairs or 200 kilometres away.

All of this without paying a single monthly fee.

Reason 03

No subscription. Not now. Not ever.

This is the part where most smart home brands stop being smart.

You buy the hardware. You download the app. And then you discover that actually seeing your footage, sharing a clip with the police, or getting live alerts requires a monthly plan. Cancel the plan and your EUR 100 camera turns into a paperweight. FinexHome does not work that way.

Every feature works the day you plug it in.

  • Live view, motion alerts
  • Two-way audio
  • Cloud-free local storage.
  • No plan. No tier. No trial that quietly becomes a bill.

Over three years, a Ring doorbell with its required plan costs roughly EUR 460. A Google Nest Hello, about EUR 517. A FinexHome Video Doorbell V3? One payment. Done.

Reason 04

Install it yourself in ten minutes

No electrician. No drilling through walls. No Saturday morning wasted waiting for someone who was supposed to arrive between 9 and 1.

Every FinexHome product is built to go from box to working in minutes. The Video Doorbell mounts with the included bracket. The Security Camera needs sunlight and a fence or wall. The Indoor Camera plugs into USB.

The app walks you through it

3

Control

Live view from anywhere

This matters because most home security systems never get installed. They sit in the box. The appointment never gets made. The wiring quote comes back too high. FinexHome removes every reason to delay.

Reason 05

Built by people who stood at your front door

FinexHome was started in 2022 by Luc and Teun, two former PostNL delivery drivers. Every day they stood at front doors across the Netherlands, pressing doorbells that did not work, leaving packages that nobody would know about.

They did not come from the tech industry. They came from the doorstep. And they built the product they wished every home already had: reliable, simple, and honest about what it costs.

That origin still runs through the company. Customer service picks up the phone. The app is designed for people, not specs. The products work with Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings, because they should work with what you already have, not force you into a new ecosystem.

The shift we are seeing is not about better cameras. It is about ownership. Consumers are realising that paying a monthly fee to access footage from their own home is not a feature, it is a trap. Brands like FinexHome are proving that you can offer premium hardware and a complete experience without locking people into a subscription. That is the new standard.

What Customers Say

“We installed three Solar Cameras around the property and the V3 Doorbell at the front. Took an afternoon. No subscriptions, no monthly costs. I tell everyone who asks."

Your Home Already Knows What It Needs

You do not need the most expensive system. You do not need a monthly plan. You do not need an installer.

You need something that works, from the moment you take it out of the box. Something that lets you check in from anywhere, keeps your footage private, and does not punish you with a subscription for wanting to feel safe in your own home.

That is what FinexHome was built for.

NOTE: Limited Stock Due to High Demand

Since FinexHome was recommended by several Dutch technology and lifestyle publications this year, demand has been consistently high and stock levels have been tight.

FinexHome currently offers an exclusive deal for new customers: free next-day delivery before 23:59 and a 14-day risk-free trial. Try it at home with no obligations. If it does not give you the control, visibility, or peace of mind you expected, send it back. No questions asked. Full refund.

This offer is limited. Once current stock runs out, delivery times increase.
