Frequently asked questions
Do I need a subscription?
No, with Finex you never need a subscription. Your footage is stored for free on your own SD card, and viewing it later costs nothing extra.
How difficult is the installation?
Not at all. The included manual guides you step by step, so you can install your product yourself without any technical knowledge. You can also view it online.
Where are my images stored?
Your recordings are stored locally on an SD card in your camera or doorbell, and you can view them in the FinexHome app. You can purchase an SD card separately from our accessories.
Which smart home platforms does Finex work with?
Connect our video doorbells, cameras, and Smart Plug to Google Home or Amazon Alexa. Each product page tells you which integrations the product supports.
Do the products also work in the dark?
Yes, all our doorbells and cameras have night vision. The Security Camera Pro and Vision even display color footage at night, thanks to a built-in LED floodlight.
What type of WiFi do I need?
Every Finex doorbell and camera works on 2.4 GHz WiFi. The Video Doorbell V2, Solar Camera, One, Pro, and Vision also work on 5 GHz. The Pro can also connect via a network cable.
Which camera or doorbell is right for me?
See who is at the door? Choose a video doorbell. No power outlet nearby? Get the Solar camera or the battery-powered Vision. Have a power outlet? Choose the One, or the Pro for 4K video. For indoors, there’s the Indoor camera.
What are the warranty and return policies?
You have a 2-year warranty and a 14-day cooling-off period. Want to return it? Email info@finexhome.com for the return address. After we receive your return, you will receive a full refund including shipping costs. You only pay the return costs yourself.
