Frequently asked questions
Do I need a subscription?
No. Saving and viewing your footage is free, so there are never any monthly costs.
How difficult is the installation?
Not at all. The included manual guides you step-by-step, and you don't need any technical knowledge. You can also find the manuals on our manual page.
Where are the images stored?
On an SD card in your camera or doorbell. You can view your recordings in the FinexHome app, wherever you are. Don't have an SD card yet? You can order one separately, in 32 or 64 GB.
Which smarthome platforms does Finex work with?
You can connect our video doorbells, cameras, and the Smart Plug to Google Home or Amazon Alexa. You can control the Smart Door Handle with the TT Lock app.
Do the products also work in the dark?
Yes. All our cameras and video doorbells have night vision. With the Security Camera Pro and Vision, you can even see images in color at night.
What type of WiFi do I need?
2.4 GHz WiFi is sufficient: all our cameras and video doorbells work on this. The Video Doorbell V2, the Solar camera, and the Security Camera One, Pro, and Vision also work on 5 GHz.
Which camera or doorbell is right for me?
For your front door, choose a video doorbell. No outdoor power outlet? Choose the Solar camera or the Vision on battery. If you do have an outdoor power outlet, then the One or the 4K Pro. For indoors, there's the Indoor Camera.
What are the warranty and return periods?
You get a 2-year warranty and 14 days to reconsider after receipt. Want to return? Then email us at info@finexhome.com. You only pay for the shipping costs of your return.
