Frequently asked questions
Do I need a subscription?
No, with Finex you don't need a subscription. You pay once for your device and, if applicable, an SD card. After that, storing and viewing your footage costs nothing.
Is the installation difficult?
No, you install everything yourself. On our instruction page, you can download the instructions, and for most products you can also watch an installation video there.
Where are my images?
On the SD card in your camera or doorbell, where they are saved automatically. Don't have an SD card yet? Order a 32 or 64 GB card with it. You can watch them back in the FinexHome app, even when you're not at home.
Does Finex work with Google Home and Alexa?
Yes. Our video doorbells, cameras, and Smart Plug connect with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Do you use another platform? Contact us, and we'll look into it for you.
Do the products also work in the dark?
Yes, all our cameras and doorbells have night vision. The Security Camera Pro and Vision even let you see everything in color at night, thanks to their built-in spotlight.
Which Wi-Fi do I need?
The Video Doorbell V2 and all our outdoor cameras work on 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi. The Video Doorbell V1 and the Indoor Camera work on 2.4 GHz. You can also connect the Pro Security Camera with a LAN cable.
Which camera or doorbell is right for me?
Want to see who’s at the door? Choose a video doorbell. No outdoor power outlet? Choose the Solar camera or the battery-powered Vision Security Camera. Have a power outlet? Choose the One, or the Pro for 4K video. For indoors, there’s the Indoor Camera.
What are the warranty and return policies?
You get a 2-year warranty and have a 14-day cooling-off period after receiving your order. Want to return something? Email info@finexhome.com. You will receive a refund of the full order amount; you only pay the return shipping costs yourself.
