Getting acquainted
Luc and Teun met in our younger years when we both worked as parcel delivery drivers at PostNL. Every day, we stood at front doors and saw the same thing: video doorbells that were dead, unresponsive, or simply didn't communicate. We regularly spoke with residents and heard the same complaints over and over again. The systems were expensive, user-unfriendly, and without a subscription, they were practically useless. We kept talking about it at the depot. The topic kept coming up, and each time, we thought the same thing: there has to be a better way.

The idea of doing it myself
A doorbell that simply works, is affordable, and never requires a subscription. We drew up our initial product ideas, found a supplier who believed in us, and invested everything into developing the perfect video doorbell.
The result? Our very first doorbell became an instant bestseller. People recognized what we felt: an affordable, smart product, without hidden costs, that really worked. Since then, we've grown with a great team to over 50,000 satisfied customers. We've expanded our product range to include security cameras, solar cameras, and a smart door handle. And we're just getting started.

The origin of Finex
Finex was born from the experiences of two young entrepreneurs, Luc and Teun, who met as parcel delivery drivers at PostNL. They stood at front doors every day and encountered the same problems with video doorbells that didn't respond or worked poorly. From that frustration, they knew: This could be done better.

From idea to product
This is where the real work began. At the drawing board, they worked on the design of the first video doorbell. They tested, adjusted, and refined until every detail was perfect. This phase laid the foundation for Finex. A product designed based on real-world experiences at the front door, with a focus on simplicity, reliability, and a sleek design.

Continuous improvement
Sales of the first model began, and it quickly became clear they had created something special. The video doorbell did what it was supposed to and was enthusiastically received. For the first time, a doorbell simply worked as expected. At the same time, they listened closely to their customers. They received valuable feedback and small improvements. This gave them exactly the direction they needed.

Completely redeveloped based on what could be improved and what customers truly valued. The launch of the V2 confirmed everything. The model became an instant bestseller.

Continue to expand range
Since then, they have continued to expand their product range, always driven by customer feedback and thorough research into the shortcomings of other solutions, consciously eliminating these problems.

The beginning
We founded Finex based on our experience as parcel delivery drivers and our passion for technology. We saw daily problems with existing video doorbells and decided to do things differently. That year, we developed the first ideas and sketches for a video doorbell that works simply, is reliable, and doesn't require a subscription.
First product launch
We launched our first product. After finding the right production partner, we released our first-generation video doorbell. It stood out for its sleek design, ease of use, and the fact that it worked entirely without a subscription.
Customer feedback integration
We actively gathered feedback from our customers and listened attentively to their experiences. Everything was carefully considered to further refine and improve our products and working methods.
Finex V2 Introduction
Based on customer feedback, we expanded our product range with the latest Finex V2 model. It was fully developed based on what could be improved and what customers truly valued. The launch of the V2 confirmed everything. The model became an instant bestseller.
Refine and look ahead
Our focus was on refining and looking ahead. We improved our processes, customer service, and website to make everything as clear and simple as possible. At the same time, we identified common problems and initiated partnerships with various manufacturers to develop new, problem-solving products ready to conquer the market.

This year, our focus is entirely on expanding our range with the very best products. Developed based on customer feedback and common problems in the smart home sector. Products that do what they promise, without the usual frustrations and, of course, without a subscription.
